My practice explores the idea of story-telling through a vast labyrinthine composition of illustrations, depicting memories that collectively evoke a sense of nostalgia. I employ the structure of a graphic novel; however the conventional manner of reading from left to right is disturbed by connections between unrelated images, compelling the viewer to interpret an underlying narrative. I divulge self-reflection as part of universal experience, aiming to take the viewer on a journey of their own minds by posing that they take part in a visual game.
Alongside my practice, I also like to sketch, using a variety of media such as ink, pencil and collage, and make posters for commissions.
